We here at the Daily Outsider remember Congressman John Lewis:  John Lewis will lie in state at US Capitol early next week Late civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis will be memorialized at the U.S. Capitol Rotunda next week. Lewis, who died over the weekend after a battle with pancreatic cancer, will be placed on the East Front Steps of the rotunda for public viewing, which will be allowed on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced Thursday.
